Charlie, in PrPro you added a dust and scratches effect which I don’t recall you adding in the FCPX demo. In any case Dust and Scratches in PrPro is not a GPU accelerated effect and it’s probably the reason why the UI became unresponsive.

Last time I looked I could. Mind you, that was 3 or 4 years ago. Maybe they removed that as a way to not look superior to FCP7 🙂

Much more fully fledged than most people think. It can be used for full out mixing and is a great tool for audio cleanup, levels processing to the latest C.A.L.M. standards, and a general jack of all audio trades, not to mention it’s connect to Premiere. Worthwhile checking out for anyone using the CC suite.

Not true of Audition which can bridge 32 bit plugins for use in its 64 bit architecture. I’d be surprised it Pro Tools can’t do same and I don’t think it’s that difficult for Apple to do it with Logic…Maybe in the next update.

The DCP package in Totalcode wraps jpeg2000 sequences in MXFs. I suggest you download the demo or ask Mainconcept.

Apparently TotalCode for Premiere Pro by MainConcept will wrap j2k to mxf.
