Okay, maybe I can put them up somewhere.

I’m not sure if this is related to my particular problem, but I can’t really find any tools or menu options that allow me to put an “end of movie” mark on the timeline. For example, I know how to control the length of individual clips in the timeline, but I’m wondering if I also need to tell Vegas where I want to end the entire movie. When I do a preview, the cursor seems to continue running beyond the last clip, at least for a couple seconds or so, and then jumps back to the start.

This puzzles me a bit, because with video #1, the cursor runs about two seconds beyond the last clip, and with video #2, the cursor runs about five seconds beyond the last clip. This inconsistency makes me think something isn’t set up right.

I’ve looked over and over again at my two video timelines, and I can’t see anything that would make them behave differently. Both are a simple collection of 4-5 media clips with a tiff image at the start.

However, after I create the avi files (make movie), video #1 ends with a black screen while video #2 ends by showing a freeze frame of the tiff image that’s located at the start. In Vegas, both video timelines are the same — they both end at the end of the last video clip.
