Combining masks from the same layer into one mask.

Method – combing path data from both masks and turning them into a single position path
that is recombined into a single mask.

1. make a very small solid layer in your comp.

2. first mask – click onto words ‘mask path’
edit/copy

3. be on frame 0 – on your very small solid layer goto position and paste.
a new position path in the shape of your first mask appears.

4. 2nd mask – click on words ‘mask path’
edit copy

5. goto a few frames past the last keyframe of the newly created position path on your
very small solid layer then goto position and paste.

a new position path in the shape of your second mask appears – it should already be linked
to the first position path

6. click on position path and edit/copy

7. on same layer as your original paths that you are combining make a single point mask.

8. click on ‘mask path’ and paste. This is your combined mask.
