    They aren’t “new exactly… it’s just a different way to do stuff. For example, having to go into Effect Mode to work with the effect editor. Technically you can open the effect editor from the Tools menu it doesn’t stay open. I’ve mapped Source/Record editing, Trim Mode, Effect Mode, and Color Correction mode to the keyboard so at least it’s just one button to move between them.

    I found the changes from Meridian to Adrenaline systems made the interface a bit clunky personally. All the tools are there.. but the addition of modes slowed me down at first. I’m managed to get back up to speed but it takes a few extra buttons to make some stuff happen.

  • You could run the clip through After Effects I suppose…

    The Accom Stratasphere has been able to do this for years, wish my MC could.

    The video malfunction plugin for After Effects is very good. Might not be exactly what you’re looking for though.
