Well, it’s got to be the JVC BR-HD50U…..I’ve been using mine since it first came onto the market, and I have to say it’s a very nice bit of kit!!
The unit is also great value for money, and if you shop around at the moment you can find some great deal from online broadcast companies.All the best

Just to let you know…..JVC are aware of this issue, and are working on a fix.
For future shoots…..always make sure that your clips have 10-30 sec ears, so that when you come to edit your footage you won’t loose any of the important stuff.
JVC have been working to solve the ‘lost 2 – 5 sec’ of lost video in FCP issue for a while now, but to no avail, but from the conversation I had with them last week….they are on the case….let see how long it takes them!!All the best

Umm, it does indeed seem like a system performance issue. Most playback problems, but not all I might add are caused by slow media/system drives, and or slow systems.
My system is quite powerful, but from time to time my system goes on strike, causing playback to be stuttery or just downright eratic!!
I’m not aware of any 720p 60fps encoding problems, but I will look into it.All the best

Well I’ve seen the studio package working, and I have to say it works very well indeed.
I’m not aware of any technical issues that might cause you any headaches, or for that matter any operational issues.
The best advice I could give you would be to arrange for your local JVC rep to pop in to give you a demo before you take the plunge.All the best
