A quick follow up.
After a moment of trying to figure out how to phrase my follow up I come up with this. I Was running 6.5 and have recently upgraded to CS3, now if it is a slot issue, would have upgrading the software have activated this problem? That is, when I upgraded, would it have been possable that this problem was there and only upon upgrading did it become symptimatic?

I was, and am working with the source media on an internal drive.The computer has four gigs of Ram with which I have had feature length Projects play through with no hits or stalled images in the veiwer. So I don’t think it is a hard drive problem.
And in fact yes since I was given 1 day to pull together a forty minute video with a hard deadline. I needed to keep cutting material in so Posting and hitting refresh every now and then actually took less time to do a search find fifteen or sixteen different posts on the word I search filter through them to find the one that best matched my problem. 😛
Which is still happening, However it is only in this project file. I have worked on the feature and the Dance plugger (two other of the Projects) I am editing right now with out encountering this problem only when I Work on this project does it happen.
It remains to be a problem because this is a file I am going to have to update on a weekly basis expanding subtracting and such.
