I have a laptop with the nVidia GTX 460M video card and both the Sony and Main Concept avc render fine with audio.
If it’s not working for your video card make sure you have the latest drivers. For the nVidia 460 series you have to have driver version >= 270.xx

Unfortunately I cannot help you. that file is not installed with Vegas 11 64-bit.
We get the folder structure:
C:\Program Files\Sony\Vegas Pro 11.0\FileIO Plug-Ins
In there we have an “mcplug2” folder but not an “mcplug” folder. In the Vegas 11 mcplug2 folder there’s no such dll.
So I think you’ll have to post again asking if anyone has it.
Or try a complete uninstall and reinstall of Vegas 9.
Unless someone else has a suggestion…

I’m running Win7 64-bit. Are you running the same version of Windows?
If so, when I get home tonight I will see if it’s on my system and if so, zip it up and post it so you can download it.

You shouldn’t have to worry about them if they are stored in a different location than where Sony is installed.

mcmpegin.dll”Looks to me like that file is causing you grief.
Doing a google search, that dll file is used for mpegs (encoding and decoding) :

My guess is you would need to download and replace that file. Be sure to make a backup copy of your original one first.
Did you install any codec packs? That might have corrupted the file.

Hmmm… I doubt it’s a bug in Vegas or everyone would be experiencing the issue of not having any audio while rendering to that format.
Have you tried reinstalling Vegas from scratch?

Sorry… I wanted you to render it as an audio file such as mp3 to see if it could be rendered.
You should also try just creating a blank video track. All black. And leave that on with the audio track. See if you can render that black video with audio.
