Yes, I’m using 64-bit. I don’t have Camtasia. However, the codec is available – and it worked. Thanks so much.
And, yes, I was going to re-encode the AVI files in Vegas – but obviously, I couldn’t.
But why would DVD Arch. inflate an AVI 10x? That just seems crazy.
Before this I tried Any Video Converter – and even with the best setting I could find – it introduced unacceptable noise into the audio – and reduced the video quality too much.
I have not done much with DVDs and not for awhile – and this is the first time I had video over and hour long (I have about 3 hrs in this project). So, based on what I saw in DVD Arch. I was under the impression that DVD’s are 60 minutes – unless you have double layer. That was until I went to buy some – then I saw that they are labeled as 120 min. for 4.7Gb DVDs.
