Open the track motion keyframe editor and select the first keyframe then shift+select the last keyframe. Right click and select “copy” (you may be able to use ctrl+c…I’m not sure). Go to the beginning of the next lower third where you want to apply the keyframe and paste them. (You can easily locate the position of the lower third using the cursor lock button in the bottom of the track fx editor.

  • Thanks everyone for the info on this.

    Ken,
If I put out .mp4 is there any specific settings that I need to make sure are used to make sure that it is read as h.264? Or is it included in the .mp4 encoding?

    Yes Thanks Phil.
I have submitted it to Sony several times in the past…but no change in recent versions.

    Dave,
I have since adjusted the way I make highlight videos for athletes using the velocity. I set my freeze frame (0% Velocity) at the start of the clip. Set the keyframe to HOLD, then set a 100% Velocity keyframe after 1 second (or however long you want the keyframe to last.

That part you knew, but this is the next step:
Press Ctrl+C to copy the event
Click on the next event…right click…SELECT EVENTS TO END
Then Right Click again on the selected event and…PASTE EVENT ATTRIBUTES

This will apply a 1 second freeze frame to the beginning of all your events.

    Dave,
I know exactly what you need. I do the same types of videos for athletes. I use VASST Ultimate S to create Markers at all events, then, create images at markers. 1 button creates all the still images you need.
You will then need to place each image at the corresponding marker, but it goes very quickly.
