yeah, and that’s what’s silly. I don’t want to set i&o in L&T and then set them again in the project. when you re-batch capture from previously L&T’d stuff you have the option of adding handles, but not the first time you L&T? stupid oversight. the preference should be in there, makes no sense.

dunno if it’s a dirty anything. I had this problem when copying from P2 cards with the protect switch disabled. when I enabled the protect switch and used shotput pro to do byte for byte verification the same footage imported glitch free. do you have access to the original footage on the P2 card?

wow. I’ll bet a lot of Ki Pro’s sell for this purpose alone. what playback format has a higher quality? only HDCAM SR methinks, and the whole HDCAM system sure isn’t cheap & portable. imagine projecting from the Ki Pro using your iphone as a remote. couldn’t be simpler. and 2 hours of 1080p24 would fit on the included 250GB Ki drive. amazing.

thanks for the info jeremy. I hadn’t thought about exporting from FCP and copying the file to the Ki Pro. makes the Ki Pro probably the best compact playback device. is there a way to navigate multiple files on the Ki drive? or will they just play in sequential order based on filename?
