After having been misadvised for a Toshiba Tecra, I need to buy a new laptop for PPr CS4.
I’ve looked at MAC, DELL and now Clevo/Sager.
But when you look at Adobe users forum, you really don’t know anymore what to do. They mostly tell you there is noway with laptop, you need workstation.
I’ve worked 5 years with a Satellite and PPr1.5: it’s definitelly not fast, but it did work.
Any opinion on this:
Dell Precision M6500 i7 620M 2.66 GHz dual core
4 GB RAM
2 SATA 7200 500GB drives + RAID controler
GPU Nvidia FX3800M (1GB)
And of course Win7 64b.

As for Clevo, they seem to be much cheaper and technically more advanced. But can you trust this brand?
