I have not found a solution. I sent your findings on to the guys who do the editing. I’m waiting to hear from them.

In Photoshop I merge my layers and Select Layer Transparecny. Then I go to the channels and create an alpha channel. I then fill in the selection with white. Everything else in the black is what will get keyed out. The I select the RGB channels and save out as Targa with alpha.

The graphics are in RGB mode.
