just picked one up from b&h. looks ok in studio. will be putting it to the test this week.

if the camera is facing away from you, it would stop the right front of the mounting surface from curving and give you a rectangular base plate to mount the camera with.

yes. that was the key. i did exactly as you did and the footage looks stunning.

the shoot will be some fast indoor and outdoor changes. mostly it will be at a large room with incandesant light. part of the room will also be affected by sunlight through several large windows.

who has a sandisk 32 g class 4 that works?

did’nt you read the other below posts…sony and sandisk goverened the card not to work on the ex1 or ex3. we summize for the purpose of protecting their investment in the SxS cards.
return them and buy a transcend 32 g class 6 …they work…sandisk (or scamdisk) dont in the 32 g range.
