  • I saw it, but thats camera shake using wiggler, which like I said is just shaking the x/y position instead of rotating the actual video a few degrees. Refer to the example again.

  • Yes I can use AE but why waste the effort if I can do it in Premiere right? Especially considering the fact that youre recommending doing it by hand key-by-key. I’m surprised theres no plugin for this, kind of ridiculous imo.

  • Like I said before, i’m not programming a shake per se, I’m trying to program a vibrating rotation of video.

  • Well basically I just need to figure out how to handle the rotation, it should rotating towards both sides and come to a stop.

I’m not trying to move the x/y position of the video at all (which would shake it), I’m trying to create a vibration illusion but rotating it left and right equally.

See the example link in the first post.

  • Yes I ask because I dont want to spend another 5 hours re-rendering just to change the music (it’s the same exact song, just a more cleaner version suited for the video).

Well I use Premiere and dont know of any option that renders “only audio” to the mp4 file without having to re-render the video.

You’re absolutely right, that fixed it. Thanks!

How can I export from Premiere next time to avoid this issue? I was selecting Quicktime from Premiere with the Apple ProRes LT codec.

I’m on a Mac, I already have compressor but it’s not working how I want it. What settings do I choose? It renders video that stops playing after a few frames and its the most frustrating thing in the world right now :/

Also what settings/filesize do I compress the video to?! i cant see myself uploading a gig through youtube?

If I have FCPX already installed in my system, and I’m just a basic user who’s going to make short films (4 to 15 minutes max), is there a reason i shouldn’t learn what I have? I keep reading that “FCPX isn’t professional” and it’s much “slower than Premiere” because of how often it needs to render. If I import all my MOVs as ProRes in FCPX wont the render times be cut drastically?

Also, if I stick with FCPX how hard would it be to transition into After Effects for further processing, and more importantly, how much quality would be lost? Quality is my most important concern here.

Yes I am on a Mac and trying to pick between Premiere and FCPX and because Vimeo seems to offer much higher quality video than YouTube I want my files to be of the highest quality (sorry if I sound ridiculous, I just want to understand).

I am using a Canon EOS 60D DSLR to shoot all my video at 1920x1080x24p and they are saved as .MOVs in my memory card. I am just looking for the best workflow for me and trying to figure out how to get the best quality render.

If Premiere can use ProRes (can someone tell me how btw?), then I will learn Premiere because my entire setup is Adobe. I use Lightroom, Photoshop and want to get into After Effects later too.
