All right I will. Do you think it will make more sense to convert it to a different format before editing it?

It’s Vegas Pro 9. I’m trying to edit an MP4 file (from my Flip camcorder) to render to an AVI. The template is = NTSC DV. I have 2 GB of RAM (1.87 GB usable), with a 2.2 GHz processor running Windows 7, and a 32-bit Operating System. Is that what you need to know?
