my puzzle piece is a tan wood grain in look…and when i do a alpha matte the vid turns a a ugly color. will i need to make my puzzle a different color to get the original video color?

but why is he using 24fps when he’s just building stuff in AE with no video just gfx? cuz he plans on exporting it as 24fps?

im using adobe premiere > ADVC 700 canopus box (external)> beta-sp machine PVW2800(sony)

so whats the correct step to recording to my beta deck?
hit spacebar and hit record on deck or export my seq then put it on timeline and play it the hit record on deck? iv’e been told both ways, but i noticed that a pan with wierd interlaced video it renders better if i export a movie then play it back?
