Let me join in here as I too am experiencing this problem. I am working with still photos and zooming in on them and/or text and getting the flickering of the image. Anyone have an answer to this problem?

Terry, thanks for the input. (I do have a great quality original file.) However, given your additional input, I have three questions:

1.) What bit rate do you suggest for the MPEG2?
2.) Do you have a recommendation on a DVD authoring program?
3.) Are you implying that the rendering settings don’t matter in Sony Vegas 9.0? If they do, it gets me back to my original question which is what should those be set at to produce the MPEG2?
