Difficult to diagnose where the slight choppiness is coming from, but other than that I’d say that the quality is perfectly acceptable for Youtube. Better if you view it at youtube.com in 720p

[Johnny Robinson] “Is is even possible to go back to 24 fps from 30? “
Yes, there’s the crap way – which you’ve already tried, or the proper way:
https://www.snellgroup.com/documents/brochures/conversion-and-restoration/Alchemist_PhC-HD.pdfYou’ll need a LOT of money for one of those but you could rent time on one….

[Pengchon Vann] “sorry, I meant the 5minute video comes out to about 93 megs”
Megabites or MegaBytes?
I’ll assume MegaBytes (MB)
A quick calculation tells me that the video is using 2.48 Megabits per second.
What is the video of?

[Pengchon Vann] “the max comes up to 144,000”
144,000 of what? Kilobits or Megabits?
[Pengchon Vann] “set bitrate 500 = 93,024kb “
500 of what?
93,024 – are you sure that’s Kilobits, not KiloBytes?

Another thing – Any text used at Full HD is unlikely to be usefully visible at all at 240×180 no matter how well it’s encoded.
