    Dave,

That honestly is the greatest news of my After Effects career, spanning almost 2 1/2 years now. Now does this affect render times positively or negatively? And what was it that Mark was talking about with the auto orient? Does that have to do with the putting a sphere on an object and how After Effects would analyze and render that object? This is still great news to the organization of my projects. Thanks a bunch.

Thanks for the insight, we are doing a test today. So I will find out in the near future if it works. Thanks again

My comp is going to be projected onto a huge 6 foot globe, so it needs to be larger the 1460 x 1460.

If I use the BG Render Script I found, it helps, and I was able to set up 3 other computers to help with the render through the network, BIG TIME SAVER. Overall it helped with the suggestions, but still what is the difference between Pre-Render vs Render?

Oh, and I never ever render without using the Caps Lock

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE (I’M RENDERING RIGHT NOW, THAT’S WHY I’M ALL CAPS) I WILL GIVE THE STATIONARY CAMERA A TRY AND HAVE THE IMAGES MOVE FOR THE CAMERA. IT SEEMS TO HAVE A SMOOTHER FLOW THAT WAY. THANKS AGAIN.

That sounds about right, but since I have 130 images to move through, is ther any way to use keyframes to tell the camera’s point of interest to go and find a particular image, or would I just have to manually do that for each one the images?

Julian, this is some very cool stuff. Thanks for that info.

I have one more question, how would you be able to control each individual piece of the sphere as the demo does it? I have been playing around with some options but couldn’t come up with a concrete solution.

That’s perfect, now I have to figure out how to read French. But Thanks Man. I will let you know how it looks.

January 18, 2007 at 6:27 pm in reply to: Simple question: Quick Switch on Photoshop CS2 or CS3

Thanks, I do agree, it is quite a nuisance to have to go to the window and scroll through. The other thing that has been annoying me with Photoshop CS3 is that when you do the Tile Horizontally and you do some changes and apply some effects, it loses it’s functionality and you then have to go back and rearrange the Tile Horizontally. I just want to set up a cascade, and then be able to quickly go from one to the next.

They have it in everything else, why not Photoshop?

Thanks for the comment, I couldn’t find it anywhere in the keyboard shortcuts either.
