    Hello

    In my limited experience using the Quick Time conversion you suggested wont give you the best results and that you will probably need to consider a software plugin or third party software or even a conversions house (expensive but good quality) in order to first convert you master NTSC footage to a master PAL. Then encode to PAL mpeg 2 using PAL settings and then set up a PAL project in DVD SP with PAL formatted menus and then burn as normal.

    I have Compression master and I think it OK. Unfortunately I hade some problems with some Windows media files which has given me pause in using it as an encoding solution.
    But I have a demo of Procoder station this week and will see what they have to say
