Thanks for the suggestion. I own a Matrox MXO and the MXO2 seems promising. However, I have been having problems getting it the MXO to work well with my MacBook Pro and as such I’m hesitant to think about the MXO2. To be fair, the technical problems I’m getting are probably more due to user error than the hardware. Hmmm…food for thought.
I’m still interested in how other people are using the 25p EX1 footage with FCP, if at all.
It seems like a somewhat neglected frame rate…Sincerely

Agreed. And we (that is the place I work for) still have a lot of these projects.
So…money spent is money earned. However, we are getting more and more web bases projects. -

Yes its a bit long in the tooth for our kind of thing, still good for kiosk and games apparently. The new version is supposed to be good with interactive DVD-Videos, something that we are trying to test out. And we still get a lot of clients requesting a CD-ROM as they think it the best way to deliver their content…???
Trying to get them to deliver on the web has been a bit of a problem.
We also have some In house Director developers who know nothing but Director: are just picking up the Flash manuals and naturally don’t wish to use anything BUT Director.
Hmmm…
It all makes for some interesting Discussions.

Please excuse the delay. I was waiting for some possible feed back from an audio technician who works on the show. So far…Probably scared him with the always slightly off putting introduction, “you don’t know me…” in my email.

Very interesting as I was looking for 35mm adapters for this very camera.
Did you use your marshall monitors for check the shots on location? Or the Sony’s LCD screen?
