I am getting a new camera. The problem is I need maintain access to our archive of DV tapes. I need a way to capture from the xl1.

I clicked off the hdv/dv control and capturing worked fine. Weird.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I partitioned the 1 terabyte drive into a 250 gig boot drive and 750 scratch drive. Anything I was capturing was the scratch drive.

I just tried capturing to one of the externals, and it was still jumpy. I think the problems somewhere else.
