I realize this is an old thread, but I just came across it while searching this same error. At first we didn’t know why it happened, but while troubleshooting our camera op had remembered that he noticed the AC accidentally pull the battery without powering down the camera (we’re running AB on it). He did a test and was able to recreate the duplicate clip numbers. If a battery gets pulled without a proper power down, then the next card’s clip numbers repeat.

Hope that helps anyone who come across this in the future.

Sorry, if you had trouble understanding my post. The time refered to the latter size, it took 20mins to do 40gigs over usb3.0.

I can tell something is wrong with these speeds, but I’m not a hardware expert to figure out what. When troubleshooting, I changed cables, changed type of cable (esata to usb) and tried a new drive, the new drive was just as slow.

Amaing and transcodig Works, it makes relinking easy, but It’s taking longer to transcode via avid than redcine x. I’ve have access to a redrocket in a sonnet thunderbolt chasis and in redcinex exporting with 1/2 debayer, it goes fast, but in Avid from AMA files the debayer full size takes 5 minutes per 2 mins of video, that is the same I get with Avid no rocket doing 1/2 debayer. Maybe somethig is wrong with avid not utilizing the rocket right?

If I transcode in redcine, what exactly is te process for relinking to the r3d for thr final online?

Has JVC changed stock lens? The new model HD200UB has a 16x lens (according to B&H). I’m considering purchasing this, does this lens still have the same problem?

I’ve tried to find some examples online to see just how extreme it is, but to no success, if anyone can help me with that I’d really appreciate it.
