    Very good….that’s what I’m looking for as far as the mpg to avi encoder.

    The videos were originally recorded on a digital camcorder in .mpg format and uploaded to the computer via firewire, subsequently stored on an external hard drive.

    Already have the Classroom in a Book text….and its already dog-eared. Also have The Premier Pro Bible by Droblas and Greenberg that’s getting its fair share of use as well.

    Well now isn’t that interesting…..just tried importing a .wmv format video and that worked without a hitch. Smooth transition, no problem there. So I guess you were right when you said that APP doesn’t like .mpg very much…..will see what I can do from here.

    Ugh….No go. Tried the rendering, got that done without problem, but still no difference in the video and how choppy it is. In the monitor section, the clip is about 18 seconds long. In the timeline, it plays in about 5 seconds.

    I’m at a loss here….Anyone have any other ideas??
