Hello Matt,
It’s a DVD-only release, but no worries. We’ve sent hundreds of disks to the UK and it’s always worked fine. In fact, nearly half of our shipments are outside the US.
That’s just about right since over half of our traffic is from outside the US!
So order with confidence. It’s a great disk, and we’ll make sure it gets to you safe and sound.

This is true for all versions of Firefox, and so’s the solution: go to Tools/ Options/ Advanced/ General, and uncheck “Start to search when I start typing.”
The trade-off is that you’ll have to type (modifier)-F to “Find,” but you’ll be able to do what you really NEED to be able to do on the net, which is quote previous Cow posts in your own new post. 🙂

1) The ONLY way we accept payment for DVDs to ANY country is with PayPal. Even the United States! Everyone uses Paypal.
We sell very many DVDs in Iran…and Iraq, and UAE, and Egypt…and many other Arabic-speaking nations. And also Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Belarus, Korea, Vietnam, Nigeria, Luxembourg, Canada, Israel, Turkey, and many dozens of other countries. We will be very happy to send our DVDs to you if you can use PayPal, or find someone who can order the disks for you.
2) The DVDs we sell are by people who already ARE leaders in the Creative Cow. They are not students. They are working professionals.
We will be very happy to help you learn more in school. Please post your questions in the Cow forums, and you will find many people glad to help you.

One of the side effects of our rapid growth is that we maxed out our servers. We’ve spent a lot of time recently doubling our capacity, so the Cow will be much much faster.
One of the side effects of THAT is that we had a lot of things to move around. Your account should be smooth sailing from here.

A belated thanks for joining, Allen.
For the rest of the class, Allen’s an old-timer in more ways than one. 🙂 He joined the Cow back in September of 2001, just a few months after the Cow began. He wanders all over the meadow, too — Audio Professionals, Business & Marketing, Compression Techniques, even a couple of posts in our shiny new Windows on Mac forum.
I was trying to come up with an onomatopoeia for a train whistle, but failed. Ah well, you can all use your imagination…
