I’d personally like to thank Kathlyn, Ron, Tim and all the rest of you for having the confidence in me and asking me to fill this post. I’m really honored!
I hope to be able to help as many as I can, same as I’ve been doing. I’m certainly no expert and even after all these years with Vegas, I still don’t consider myself extremely knowledgable like Ed and DSE and the other top leaders. I’m still learning also, but thanks.

A belated thanks for joining, Allen.
For the rest of the class, Allen’s an old-timer in more ways than one. 🙂 He joined the Cow back in September of 2001, just a few months after the Cow began. He wanders all over the meadow, too — Audio Professionals, Business & Marketing, Compression Techniques, even a couple of posts in our shiny new Windows on Mac forum.
I was trying to come up with an onomatopoeia for a train whistle, but failed. Ah well, you can all use your imagination…
