I worked a number of years ago on a project for Apple/Motorola that was 9 discrete screens. I’m talking like 1996 or so. Early days of AE.

We had some scenes with duplicate content and some with content that moved from screen to screen.

We were always doing math to determine the position of Screen 4 or 7 relative to the total measurements of the whole screen.

In AE as I recall we typically did separate comps–but that was back in a day of greater AE limitation.

That sounds like a heck of a lot of fun, honestly. I’m jealous!
