Sorry I dont know that specifically, but I do know that this thing is “particular” about what it “plays with”… and that I cant get it running on any of my gear.

    See my post below.

    Thanx for commenting.

Adding to my frustration was also updating the Renesas USB Driver. A nightmare that I have not yet realised and finished.

USB driver is so specific…Why did BM not put it on the install disc? My USB hub manufacturer latest driver differs from BM spec! (Driver # is same 2.0.4.0 and the firmware 3021 instead of 3025)

BM Design does suggest a link in the manual to what they need… at station-drivers.com… but..

…this takes a lot of navigating and eventually one ends up with a bunch of files…non of which are the install driver !

My 3 different machines all have a different reason (error) why the device wont run on them. Only one is an NEC USB Hub. One would think that GTX 560, 570 and a GT 555m graphics card would be good enough but of course none of these are “approved” by BM specs.

  • Hmm..now I am confused …except you may mean from IN to Out Point and there can only be one of each of these.

Shift-I and Shift-O will do this.

There are no edit points in a Source clip.

  • There is no direct way to get to the Next or Previous Edit in the timeline , from the Source Monitor.

It would be a great feature for its convenience and logic.

I use shortcuts to bounce between Source, Program or Timeline (Sequence)

  • Windows 7 PC 24GB

    I have now installed a GTX670 4GB SC Card

I made the decision to install that as my Primary Card because Premiere uses the same card simultaneously for GUI and Video Processing. (unlike Resolve). I use Premiere more than Resolve.

By itself that improved Resolve perfomance although I still got the message that Resolve would “prefer” a second card.

I then re installed the FX3800 Quadro card without any connections and no additinal driver installs apart from what Windows supplied.

WEindows and Resolve recognised the 2 graphics adapters (no message).

So next step will be to get a higher performance GTX to replace the Quadro. ie.More cuda cores and more memory.

  • If I may tack onto this thread.

I am also re-jinking a Win 7 computer to accomodate Resolve

I am wondering if a FX3800 Quadro (for GUI) will work with the other nvidia (cuda) cards being suggested?

I also have a BM SDi card installed

    HD only is the intention.

I read the Windows config guide but it did not supply this info.

Call me pessimistic but…I have already consigned my Intensity Pro card to a box of hardware relics (aka ‘the box of expensive lost causes’)

Worst thing any business can do is ignore existing customers/clients.

Its the “mushroom business principle” – keep them in the dark and feed them “manure”.

I have seen an Adobe Version upgrade create unsurmaountable problems for software developers to overcome in the past.

My guess is that the issues with CS4 Playback and Scrub could be causing BM a headache.

Call me cynical but…I doubt we will ever see a driver for Premiere CS4.
