Interesting. Thanks. Certain changes can be taken out of history and simply applied as a new edit. Others might open up a can of worms. Or you check the list and just “undo” a certain step by manually changing it again.
Still don’t see anything regarding keystrokes which does not actually alter a file or project but does effect the interface. Even word does not do what I am asking: I can highlight a paragraph and copy it and then go to the undo menu and undo to copy or undo select is not an option. What it will undo is the last change I made to a word or words.
Love having a list of changes. Be a great teaching tool too. You could copy and paste the list to teach steps taken and not have to write it all out. Though again if every keystroke was listed it would be even better.
Remember the old macros? That’s what they were-a recorded set of steps taken to achieve result.

Video and audio roles were turned off in index.
Still want to know best practice for deleting render files though.

There is a folder with this particular project that has a render files folder within it. Do I trash the entire folder or just the folders in it or just the files within those folders?
Do I do this on the finder level or within FC?

I’ve heard that too but is there any issues with DiskWarrior and FCP X file structure? Now that I think about it, I used it on my system drive when running FCP 4-7 where the project file was on the system drive and never had an issue. But FCP X has a completely different type of file. Hmmm. Gonna do a search.

Maybe that combo is fine. Mine was a problem from the get go. But I was told that FC does not support two graphic cards. But it will be rewritten for the new mac pro that has two.
Another possibility is the raid. All good there? No lost drives?
