Copy. I use them for mounting cameras and Kino Flos and fresnels. Not sure how I would rig one with a spacelite.

I mounted it and by the time I added the inner white apron and diffusion plate at the bottom and a black curtain over the white apro, it seems very stable and is not moving.

I do have a follow up though. When I’m using Telescoping Hangers w/ Pipe Clamp & Stirrup and add Mafer or Cardellini or some other grip to mount a camera or light, the hangers will rock for a while before settling down. is there a fix for this?

I get that but can I use a security cable as the mount. The space light has chains that end in a heavy metal circle which the security cable can loop through.

pretty sure i can loop the security cable through the vertical support holes. would this be safe?

Analog Line Out L, R
The analog line outputs are active-balanced line-level signals on Switchcraft TA3M locking connec- tors. The output level is a nominally 0 dBu at -20 dBFS. The level of the line output can be attenuated in the setup menu by up to 40 dB in 1 dB increments. Attenuation is done as an output pair.

Richard, doesn’t this imply that the signal could be set to mike level?

Does your camera only have one mike input? Most cams with XLR inputs have at least 2. another option would be to add a mixer to your arsenal. Pro Audio gear tends to last a long time and makes for worthwhile investments. Wired lavs are way cheaper and even better quality than wireless kits, particularly inexpensive wireless kits.

If I recall correctly 10.0 need to have the FCP structure on the root of whatever hard drive was storing the media. Are your FCP files saved on the root level of the media drive (even if that is the system drive)?

Have you used it enough to know it’s bug free and full featured enough to be “viable.”

Not doubting, I get asked all the time what NLE I would recommend if they don’t want to shell out $300. Or work on a PC.

Do you really see it as a deal changer in professional circles? Or just another option?

How well does it play with lesser computer specs?

Just to make sure i understand, once the folder was moved inside a new folder, it could then be opened and all the files inside it were then readable?

Cool tip. Did you drag the greyed out folder itself into a new folder? Or its contents?

Can a greyed out folder even be moved? Can you change the name of a greyed out folder? That should do the trick too.

Yeah, the App store is tied to a person’s account which asks you to enter your password. So you don’t own Apps that you don’t have the password for. 10.0.9 needs to be updated.

Even 10.0.9 did not crash like you are describing. But it may not be compatible with what is on the computer now. It has also been significantly improved. It is also possible that your drive is too full to be saving FCP X projects.

Step one is to go to the App store and download the latest software that works with your computer. I’d start with the OS X version that works with your used Mac. Get it under your account. iMovie is like $15. FCP X is $300. Find some way to make some money. People like to help out 12 year olds if they come across as respectful and ambitious.
