well I have protools 8 on a other system, would been handy to do it right away in the media composer

yes I did that today and saved before shutting down the avid, upgraded to the last version of the MC
repaired the Disk Permissions with disk utility
Now the error is gone

I had to look it up the QT version have is 10.0
it seems that QT doesn’t updates with the regular software update

I’ve edit a film in final cut pro, and the client want also a version on a usb stick wich you can directly plug in a led tv and that one must be an avi.
that is the whole story.
