Make sure to download the drivers for log and transfer on Canons website. Bring in and edit as ProRes.

Sounds like you might have keyframe audio enabled. Try disabling that. It’s in the top right corner of the mixer. Then you should be able to make a full level adjustment. You can also go to modify, levels, and make an absolute change of you audio levels.

Try selecting the cross dissolve transition and do sequence, render selection. Also, what are your computer specs?

Set your recording format to 480i and Rec Mode to DV. Then match the settings in final cut. Then I would believe you can hit record on the Panasonic and do a capture now in final cut.

Go to your sequence, right click and choose settings. From here change your Frame Size to 1920 x 1080 and compressor to Apple Pro Res 422 LT. I believe the Pixel Aspect should be square for that camera. Just check your footage and match your footage settings to your sequence settings.
