    Hi Johnny,
I just caught your post from a year ago and I have a question. From your post I am assuming that you are able to play a file in Windows Media Player out through SDI to a monitor – is that correct? I am looking for a way to view material using WMP out to an HD-SDI monitor for QC purposes. Can you tell me what SDI card you are using?

    Thanks,
    Cliff

You can’t for the entire reel as the clips are already in a bin with in and out points. This is done by the XDCam HD Transfer tool. I don’t think all of the workflows are thought about when they creat the editing software.

Just this one little item would save so much time for our AE. We can’t be the only ones with this workflow???

We import the proxies to Pilotware for viewing/logging, etc. However the full rez clips need to match the proxy clips exactly and we are editing using DVCPro HD Codec. We tried using the XDCam Native on an earlier project but the rendering time was phenominally long. We decided to go back to DVC ProHD since it works great but we need to digitize through our KONA so we can get the footage in that codec.
