i was hoping maybe the camera had a 2x dub feature whilst the sony dv cassette thing didn’t. but i think that idea is a longshot…plus people are telling me that firewire is not compatible with anything other than real time.

duh. my question didn’t say anything about capturing from the camera AT THE SAME TIME AS SHOOTING.
