Here&#8217;s a project with my solids. I have the comp with the distribute all wonky. I also created a 1/8 width precomp where I did the math and hand spaced my solids evenly like I&#8217;d like them to be, then dropped that into a fresh 100% width comp and lined those up so you can see what I&#8217;m going for. </p>

The anchor points on all layers are centered to the individual layer. The layers are stacked in the order I want them to appear left at the bottom to right&hellip;</p>

Normally that&#8217;s a simple click of the &#8220;distribute horizontally&#8221; button in the align panel, but not today.</p>

I thought it was AI, so I sent the elements into AE via Overlord which created a text layer that was also yucky when put on a white BG. So I created a fresh text layer and had the same issue.</p>

<p class="">My current solution is turning their pattern layers solid, creating the dot pattern in AE, using the AI layer as a mask and parent. It&#8217;s inelegant and creates an 2 extra layers for every object (rather than a single layer, I have the outline, the fill mask, and the AE pattern).</p>

<p>It seems to be an issue folks randomly have per the adobe message boards, and so far, no one has figured out why it&#8217;s happening. And it&#8217;s so inconsistent! I&#8217;ll get multiple artboards in a single file that I send to individual files, so you&#8217;d think&hellip;</p>

<p>So after wasting 2-3 hours trying to figure out the &#8220;proper&#8221; way to do this, I just said &#8220;why not&#8221; and put my layers all inside the background layer (which is the full size of the board) and added a zero to the end of my art board size and my layer size. Everyone scaled up together, and when I bring my board into AE and it makes&hellip;</p>

(no there isn&#8217;t a solution, just more info on the issue and pictures!)</p>
<p>I think this is an AE 22.4 issue. I don’t remember having this problem in previous versions, and the computer that has been using AE 2021 hasn’t been having this issue (until today when I used AE22.4 on it). I JUST updated to 22.5, so we’ll see if that fixes it.</p>

<p>Also, the file size is 1080&#215;1920, so it&#8217;s exporting the right number of pixels, just in all the wrong places.</p>

I can export a vertical video out of AE by creating a dynamic comp in Premiere and exporting it that way, but if I try to render straight from AE, it pushes all the video into the top half of the frame, and fills the bottom half with that fun &#8220;it doesn&#8217;t like this&#8221; green color.</p>

Each video was shot by a different crew, but mostly they&#8217;re all MXF files. I have a separate project for each rather than making one mega nightmare project, and everything was going smoothly for 2 weeks until I tried to output my second video tonight to share for review in the AM (isn&#8217;t&hellip;</p>

Their specs are based on the Jumbotron specs they were given by the stadium which clearly states that it is an odd number of pixels wide but also that delivery needs to be an mp4. I&#8217;m not sure the Jumbotron folks and the machine that runs the&hellip;</p>

And I tried literally every combination available in the setup menu all with the same result.</p>
<p>My winning solution of duplicating the mp4s, creating a multicam with those, then matching up the mxfs by hand, I just put the settings on auto &amp; everything sounds great on my first attempt.&hellip;</p>

My audio sounds like absolute garbage. It&#8217;s like it&#8217;s all blown out to the nth degree, and there is no salvaging it inside the multicam, it&#8217;s just a fuzzy nightmare.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;</p>

We tried so many things including the render engine, and the only thing that worked was exporting on a Mac.</p>

<p>It seems to be a PC hates odd numbered pixel widths thing. So I just had to make my comp an even number of pixels wide, and voila! No more stripe. Client hasn&#8217;t complained about the file being 1 pixel skinnier, so I guess that&#8217;s just&hellip;</p>

I know that mp4s don&#8217;t like odd numbers, and on my Mac Pro tower, Media Encoder just shaves a pixel off and gives me a nice 1680px wide file that seems to work just fine for our client. HOWEVER, we have tried doing this on a Windows 10 machine using the exact same&hellip;</p>
