Thanks for the suggestion, but these are individual solid layers created by ctrl+y inside the precomps for the offending layers to make sure they’re the size I want then drug into a fresh comp. I have an AI file that I’m bringing into AE that looks great until I put a white BG behind the elements. I thought it was AI, so I sent the elements into AE via Overlord which created a text layer that was also yucky when put on a white BG. So I created a fresh text layer and had the same issue.

The latest and “greatest” version of Camera Raw (both opening via Bridge and PS). It’s a new “feature,” and I hate it (as does everyone on the Adobe boards. But no one has a solution yet).

Adobe has added an annoying bandaid icon over the Heal Brush overlay in Camera Raw. I don’t want it there. I can’t find a way to turn it off. Searching “Camera Raw Bandaid Icon” brings nothing. I still want the circle overlays, just no bandaid in the middle. Thanks!

Update! (no there isn’t a solution, just more info on the issue and pictures!)

I think this is an AE 22.4 issue. I don’t remember having this problem in previous versions, and the computer that has been using AE 2021 hasn’t been having this issue (until today when I used AE22.4 on it). I JUST updated to 22.5, so we’ll see if that fixes it.

It seems to be mostly an issue with ProRes 422HQ, because I just exported some lovely 4444s that are nice and proper right out of AE.

Also, the file size is 1080×1920, so it’s exporting the right number of pixels, just in all the wrong places.

AE hates 9×16 vertical videos. I can export a vertical video out of AE by creating a dynamic comp in Premiere and exporting it that way, but if I try to render straight from AE, it pushes all the video into the top half of the frame, and fills the bottom half with that fun “it doesn’t like this” green color.

I’m using Boris Light Wrap on a nested sequence of keyed footage in Premiere 22. The sequence is an edit of different people, keyed with Ultra Key.
