if you video is in a folder called weddingstuff, rename it to weddingstuff2 or something, delete media cache and reimport. the problem does crop up in many different versions of premiere.

i don’t personally own an xps, I’ve read that there is a problem with their 4k screens and people are returning them to get something else.
that being said, i believe its an issue with the gui graphics driver because the screen can refresh video just fine. you can mess around with nvidia program settings and force premiere.exe to use compatibility mode as primary video card, or mess with the refresh rate etc(just a guess). down the road there may be driver/firmware updates from dell, but its probably easier to return it. -
just rename the top folder media name on your hd, delete media cache and reimport again. its a glitch

use previews on in export? you’ve already rendered the output.

an 8, 16, 32 lut is like adding an 8 bit effect. it creates permanent banding. the only luts that don’t are 64 cube. even those aren’t perfect.
99% of mediocre luts are 32 or less. -

for example, if you didn’t want to waste valuable space in the 850 pro for peak file or import speed and only cared about playback performance, you could put cache on the huge 7200. It’s all entirely up to you. a m.2 960 pro is a waste of money for playback because its still limited by cpu. -
turn off intel h.264 acceleration in prefs.

sorry, last time I did this when it was working was CS3. I used to use generic sony.
