Lumetri color on a adjustment layer causing a significant quailty drop when on
so I’ve corrected some footage from my sony a6500 using lumetri color on the clips, then ive added an additional adjustment layer with a creative lut and a curve (like i normally do) except this time i notice the adjustment layer has degraded my footage, almost looks pixelated?? any ideas?
pc specs are more than enough also.

Let Adobe know they need to rewrite the code from scratch. There are to many bugs to worry about fixing them.

LUTs do not know what info the picture has and how it was exposed. If the shot has noise or compression artifacts the LUT in this case might make them show up better.

yes I understand how luts work this is why I fine tune the exposure afterwards with a curves. its almost like it goes to half res…

an 8, 16, 32 lut is like adding an 8 bit effect. it creates permanent banding. the only luts that don’t are 64 cube. even those aren’t perfect.
99% of mediocre luts are 32 or less.
