just a quick tip, regular stabilization doesn’t work on pans, but if you’re keeping an object centralized, it should work. alt-drag the tracker to new trackable spots before they leave the border.
for pans, you’ll need to use timewarp, syntheyes, deshaker(virtualdub)

do you have access to a silkscreen on a jib or something to diffuse the light for even keying?
You’ll want to get a light meter for getting 60 IRE. This is for 2 reasons.
1. green or blue saturation once turned whitish, is no longer keyable.
2. no camera can do 30 f-stops in latitude so you won’t be be rotoring blown out highlights for a long time.This means that you will not only need to diffuse the light on the actor for even lighting, but bring its brightness down so that it matches the IRE of the background.
If you don’t get a light meter, there’s not much point in attempting this complicated shot.
Keying green over green seems like giving yourself extra work. Can you get blue suits instead? AE supports duplicated effects though.

I’m trying to find footage from a GH2 that has contant motion in one direction, like a pan or car with 1/30th. I’m focusing on the GH2 over the GH1 to eliminate the pulldown variable.
here’s a 24p test with a low shutter but I still see the jerkyness.
I’m really trying to sell myself that it works as well as the markII.here’s ice skating at 1/30th sec

You have to go full screen to watch motion. Also,the camera seems to handle smaller objects better than large objects.
In comparison, this canon 5d markII 24p footage is almost psychedelic.

I have no problem with the color. It’s great. I’m specifically talking about motion.
Here’s a motion example. Ignore the compression quality, this just emphasis motion. Watch closely the water, swans, carousels. etc.The other clip was fine because nothing moved in frame. Search other clips for cars driving past, etc. It’s not as smooth either.

I know I’ll get reamed for this but…
imho the Canon 5D Mark II does way better 24p than the 7D. If there is any slight difference between movement and frame interval in the circuitry, you’ll get funky jerkyness even with blur on, same problem with the GH2. Guess which camera costs more and was used for TV shows.
You can actually fix this stuff with timewarp/twixtor in AE by creating new frames then decimating down to 23.976. removes all jerkyness.
