I’m free pretty much throughout the week.

Here’s some of the VFX I need to do on my film in post-production:

Matte painting – I have some shots on the that I want to make look more mountainous. I’m having trouble getting the images I have to blend in.

Compositing a 3D object into a live action footage. How to match move a 3D object so that it appears rock solid on camera.

A character gets his throat slit – I want to composite some blood trickling down his throat. He’s only had his throat exposed for a few frames.

Another characters get a blade through the throat. I want to recreate this in 3D and use matchmoving to composite it bursting through the characters neck.

I used the C4D xsSwitch script to replace all the spheres with lights, brought into After Effects et Viola!

Here’s the plugin, it’s called “SwapObject 1.45” But I can’t find anywhere to download it. 🙁

Thanks, that seems like the way to go, now I just need to figure out how to replace each one of the spheres!

Thanks for the answers, guys, I’m also looking at FS lenses with a lens adapter to get some really cheap but nice shots. I know the extra lens element takes the light levels down an F-stop, but I’m really attracted to the prospect of getting a cheaper lens.

Ooohh actually that’s no good. I meant software. I’m on a hackintosh with no expansion slots at all.

Ok well I’ve been using the remove tool in Mocha and it’s doing an 80% good job. I think it’s down to my bad tracking of the shadow that it isn’t working. I’ll see if I can get the clip posted by I’m probably closer to completing this than I thought. For some reason when I use the remove tool instead of getting some really nice smooth results I’m getting some artefacts. Thanks for all your help guys.
