    thisComp.layer(“Strong”).effect(“3D Layer Warp”)(“Warp Amount”)

I have the warp controlling the frequency, but I’m unable to change the frequency because the expression won’t allow me. Is there anyway I could change the frequency of the radio wave ?

Brain, I can’t use the file as you are using Ae CS4 and I’m using CS3, can you save backward compatibility ?

I got it to work, it turns out the effect wasn’t scrubbing right, I had to reduce the quality. I have another question with Invigorator, I would like to know what the manual means by the statement below.

    HOT TIP!
The perfect workaround for the “always in front” problem,
is to create a rectangle in Illustrator that is the size of your
AE layer. Then open this rectangle in the Invigorator, set its
Depth to 0, and apply the AE layer to the rectangle as a
    Layer Map.
When you do this the AE layer is now inside of the Invigora-
tor’s 3D space so it will interact perfectly with any other In-
vigorator object. Shadows work, perspective works, camera
moves work. It’s a beautiful thing.

The composition that has the 3D Warp applied to it works but when I preview the composition that has the nested composition which has the 3D warp within it, I don’t see the effect. I had to explain it again in case I didn’t explain it well so you would understand.

I forgot to mention, how can I adjust the volume, it’s too loud I want it to be much softer audio when I render it out or preview it in the comp. I hope this can be done in Ae 🙂

I think I’ll just edit the audio in a audio editor, I thought it could be done somewhat in Ae but, I suppose not.

    Alright, that solves that.

There is no video it’s sequence files. And the audio is just audio, take a sound of a “clack” for example now make one “clack” happen 2 seconds before the other “clack” you’ll notice when the other “clack” starts, this is what I want to eliminate. I want them to blend together even though they are on separate tracks within AE.

RAM preview or rendering it out, either way. The audio is just WAV format and they are separate audio tracks not part of any footage.

June 15, 2009 at 5:07 am in reply to: Offset Layers with expression

I forgot to mention, how do you cycle (3) axis at once, I have this plug-in that you have to animate each axis individually so how can I apply a cycle so that is affects all three axis at once ? Also how can you tell a layer to start at a specific frame using expressions ?

In my previous post I want to rephrase it. I meant to say I have (4) layers, with a cycle expression on each layer, each layer only has (2) keyframes. How can add to the cycle expression, an offset for each layer so they don’t all cycle at once. I was going to use valueInTime but that expression AFAIK is if you have multiple keyframes which I don’t.
