Thanks Jeff … Somehow my canvas got knocked into “Alpha” mode from RGB…. that’s what was causing the canvas to not show me video.

I used standard Youtube specs. h264, 30fps, Hi def ratios etc. Do you think this will goof them up?

I’m going to try that since it seems that h264 is a pretty widely used codec…

Does PAL make a difference – presuming this is being played in a digital format?? ie. Assuming they aren’t outputting to tape??

I’ve asked them to upgrade QT. Anything else worth trying?? As suspected they have gone home for the day

as far as I know they are just running the sequence. NOT re-editing

Part of the problem is that I am communicating with the producer who doesn’t seem to know much about video specs and all the guidance I received was “send us the video (.MOV for the Europe System) in high quality resolution.”

Is there a “one size fits all” codec for Europe that I can export the file with. Or some other setting — they say they can hear the audio but are having trouble seeing the video.
