Ok thanks Bobby, btw you said that you had that problem so can you please tell me what have you done to resolve it ?
    Thanks

  • Hey Bret thanks a lot for the valuable information so i think that the matrox mxo2 mini is a better solution for me than the intensity extreme, but do you know if it is compatible with the Davinci Resolve 8 ? You also mentioned something about matrox crashing with premiere pro, did you try it with final cut pro x as well because I use both premiere pro and final cut pro for editing, but if it crashes the software all the time then i’ll have to go back to the intensity extreme.
    Thanks

    Hey Bobby,
I have the same MBP but with 2.2GHZ i7, and i want to use Davinci on it but i am getting flickering problems. I tried every format and compression, nothing is working. I don’t know if it’s from the GPU but adding that thunderbolt expansion is a very good idea !! When you test it please let me know the results.
    Thank you.

I have a question here i have the 15″ MBP with the same specs as Gergo’s mac, but i am getting flickering and jittering from the viewer and from the exported media! i tried a big variety of videos (HDSLR and PAL), all type of compressions (Pro Res 422, Pro Res 444, H264 ……) litterally all types of formats and i still got these problems. I updated my CUDA driver to the latest version, jittering went away but flickering is always there! any advice? please i need help with this !
    thanks

I didn’t really understand your point Dave, do you mean that 32bit plugins work on AE CS5 but I didn’t install them the right way ?
Because I already have the CS4 workin properly with all the plugins but my problem is with the RAM. Plus I already tried CS5 before adding the RAM but no plugin worked for me.
I think that Roland is right, since CS4 is 32bit it can only read 4GB of RAM.
    Anyway thanks for the help.

  • ok thanks for the help Walter and Ted, appreciate it

Thank you Steve I read some posts about this subject and quite understood the idea.
Just out of curiosity can you please give me the minimum system requirements for editing uncompressed HD? how much RAM? CPU’s? Capture cards? Hard drives?
    Thanks again
