Of course you can put it back on DVD.

When you ripped the DVD to .mov files?
DV 50 PAL would have been a wise choice.

When your edit is complete, export video using “Current Settings”

Drop that file into compressor. Choose a DVD preset.
Change the format to PAL if not already.
16×9.
Match fields to the edit.

If you don’t NEED to have the latest version at all times, buying is cheaper. Upgrade every other CS version, for example.

I had this happen with some wireless gear I was selling, the guy was in the UAE. I forgot to specify domestic bidders only.

One solution would be to Stabilize the clip in AE – Render out.
Import new file.

You can do it just fine, but you need:

Long lenses
Cam good in low light.

Probably a cage to mount:
Wireless receiver
Mic
Light
Monitor

Or buy a HMC-150 by Panasonic

One comment I will make though, is that Adobe Media Encoder is a more limited program than Compressor. AME has no preview window, so you can’t scrub through footage to select in and out points.

Like you’ve done, use the files FCP created to get thru the job. Then R&D why this is happening with APP when you can.

Most likely the .h264 with .mp4 file is what you’ll want.
You need to know the data rate.

Like others have mentioned, get the specs from the station.
