You really could use ONE more drive.

Keep the OS drive as it is. Do not put media on this drive. You could put all your proj. files on this drive for sure.
The other 1TB drive you could raid with a third drive. (it never ends)

This is a simple process thru the OS:

This will not give you redundancy. It will give you speed and storage.

You could then buy Ext. FW Drives to back up your media/files onto. That way you have a backup…until they fill up and they will.

No, that happens with the codec thing.
Usually wmv files are all good for any win comp.
Explore making it another way I would try.

I don’t know or see what “effect” you are referring to.
It’s camera work and editing my friend.

They’re zooming in,focusing,moving around, zooming out.
Then fast cuts in the edit.
Live concert shot with a lot of hand-held.

You could compress to H.264 mpeg4, 15 FPS
Size:960X540
44.1k mono or stereo

It would be good to look into and invest in some quality Compression Software. It’s indispensable in this business.

For DVD,
Export your sequence “Current Settings”
Drop that file into Compressor.
Choose preset for DVD.
Adjust frame controls(if desired).
Adjust date rate to best match your program length(if desired).
Render.
Drop those mpeg dvd files into DVDSP and create DVD.

For WMV,
Export your sequence “Current Settings”
Take that file into which ever app you want to use for creating WMV’s
Confirm the audio track before export/render.
Export/compress/check your audio settings.
Buy Episode Software for mac.

Nothing, There is a Japan version and a European version, the 370 is the U.S. market.
