1. Bring the clip into Pr and it will give you the specs on the file.
2. DO NOT convert, edit raw.
3. No, you don’t need the presets, though they can be handy sometimes to serve as a starting point.
4. You get the Prores codec by installing an Apple app. that uses it.
5. Don’t format the card. Try off-loading the card again.

Man, 2 much compression going on.
Raw file to:
Prores
to animation
to final file.
Skip the 2 steps in the middle. Premiere is built to edit the GH2 media raw.

A higher data rate will take longer to compress and longer to upload finished file.
With the frame rate, I wouldn’t drop below half the frame rate.Chris

Exporting P2 does not make separate files.
Try it. Export a sequence to P2.
Then open media browser and bring in the P2 clip. The audio and video will be linked.

DNxHD is great to use on WIN or MAC.

I have seen this.
We would render the sequence in parts or sections, a little at a time and saving, to get through.Chris

One solution would be to export each audio track by itself. Audio only to a wav or aif file.
Link em back up in FCP.

Ultra Key is the way to go IMO.
I have also run into other export issues we could not get around (Listening Adobe?)and ended up exporting a Hi-rez Master and then more compression, what a pain.
