Live Type is great, until you want to put titles over an audio file. If I want to “write” titles based on the audio track I have to put markers on FCP, then export the video file when all I want to do is to write the lirics according to the song

    Just a thought

  • Thanks Walter,

I understand that I wont be able to downconvert from hdv to sd in real time. I can do that after i lay it out to tape in hdv through firewire, correct?.
    but
[walter biscardi] “Again, you’re outputting via Firewire, you cannot monitor HDV via Firewire through a deck in realtime”
This is what confuses me, I

I don’t have any new firewire 800 card installed, just as it came. I/O is connected to the firewire 400 port and the Graid is connected to the firewire 800 port that came with thw G5. But the thing is that when I hit log & capture I get the error. It does’nt even try to capture
But i deleted i/o presets and created new ones from scratch and I was able to capture. It seems as if the presets that came with the I/O installer disk are damaged. None of them works.

    Thanks
