Can’t capture through AJA i/o
Hi
I can’t capture anything through my I/O. I’m getting “An error occurred while configuring Quicktime using the current capture preset”
I’m trying to capture component 10 Bit from betacam SP. I get the same message when trying to capture via component, composite or s-video.
I’ve checked cables and everything seems ok
On the front of the I/O the lights are where they’re supposed to be (Analog, composite, ntsc)
Please i need helpGual 2 G5, 2 Gb Ram, FCP 5.0.4, QT 7.0.3, Graid FW800

Are you io and FW800 on separate busses?

I don’t have any new firewire 800 card installed, just as it came. I/O is connected to the firewire 400 port and the Graid is connected to the firewire 800 port that came with thw G5. But the thing is that when I hit log & capture I get the error. It does’nt even try to capture
But i deleted i/o presets and created new ones from scratch and I was able to capture. It seems as if the presets that came with the I/O installer disk are damaged. None of them works.Thanks

you should download the AJA I/O drivers from the http://www.aja.com website under Support. These are the latest working drivers, and I can assure you, they work just fine.
