It looks like you can bring up the clip and right click on the top timeline and change it to AUX Time. Am I right on that? There’s so little information about this.

The Sound Tech told me there’s a way to batch sync the clips in FCP using the audio time code.

I guess my main question is, “why were we using a digital slate?” If all the cameras have the same time code on it, isn’t the slate redundant?

I don’t use Capture Now, but doesn’t it cut you off at 30 minutes. I think that’s the longest you capture for in that mode.

Why don’t you just set you in and out points for the 40 minutes?

The other problem might be that there’s a break in the time code.

I fixed it. INPUT SELECT Switch was set to VIDEO as opposed to DV. Must have gotten hit in the shuffle of decks.

    Wow…that sucks.

I can still open the old settings. When the warning asks if I want to load a new filter I just hit “No” and I then I open the clip/graphic and check the settings I used previously. Then I delete the old filter from the clip, add the new version of the filter and copy in the settings. Not ideal…but it works.

    Thanks for the help.
