Went to Shooting Partners open day monday. P2 cams to play with, but no HVX200. Neil Marflit from Panasonic Broadcast said their will not be a HVX200 in UK until mid/end March. Hope this helps.

Yes. Tried internal Sync… according to our Media100 supplier (Cypher AMS) there are issues with genlock on some systems & it’s being “looked into” by media100… I wait with interest!

Using DVWA500P, AJD950 (DVCPRO50), UVW1800, All SDI & with house ref. & set to PB.

I’ve also had similar problems with most feeder decks. I keep loosing genlock & to gain success have to have the deck playing as I switch Media100 into digitise mode. If the batch includes time code in points more than two mins appart, I have to re genlock the system! I have been forced to use an external black & burst generator with the HD system – the old Media100i was fine on internal sync?

I believe AVID have software/hardware for sorting your problem

I was running PAL @ 360 – which probably explains the issue. Never heard of Cocktail – I’ll try & find it & have a go…

I’ve got the same performance problems (Powerbook G4, 1GHz, 1G RAM). Try reducing size of monitor windows to increase performance… I believe the SW software is designed for the G5.

Shame HDV is unsupported by Media 100HD – As usual Media 100 is left behind. Conspicuous at IBC by having nothing new to offer.
