    I think it is fixed.

I did put in another internal hard drive and upped my memory. That seemed to do the trick.

Thanks Dave. I’ll get the rest of the answers tonight but the reason for the 30 FPS is the video is for loops. Is that the best frame rate for seemless loops?

I am playing it in Quick Time.

    thanks Thomas!

I am reminded of the Tommy Boy line “now that we’ve identified the problem, how do we fix it?”

I updated all my software and video driver. If I play the video on other computers I get it too. Any ideas? I looked at SA COLOR FINESSE 3
and the BROADCAST COLOR filter to fix with no success but I could be using them incorrectly.

    Any ideas?

After 50 tries I can see this line. This is only minor to what comes up. Can someone please offer some solution?

That’s the other crazy part. I can’t print screen it. I just tried for 15 minutes. It looks fine at rest. It is only when it moves?!?!?

I tried uncompress AVI and Image sequence. This is what the image looks like without the error.

Sorry for the lack of information!

I am using the latest version of AE.

I am using Particle Illusion and I create an effect and export it out with an alpha channel. I have used PNG, TIFF and AVI progressive

Then I import it into AE with a comp that should match the size, frame rate, progressive etc..

When I export it out as AVI, MP4, MOV I get wavy lines that show up at the bottom of the screen.

If I do not use that particular effect, it seems to be ok. I will try to show a post later.

    Thank you.

BUMP. Any suggestion to make the loop smoother in the middle?

The dots POP in in the middle. There is huge jump cut. I used this technique with snow flakes and it works awesome!
